200-Unit Development 1/2 mile from KLMO Rwy29
Unfortunately for everyone in the City when it comes to public safety from poorly managed land development, the Longmont City Council isn’t very bright. While they nix development at the airport proper, then use it as a veiled attempt to say they don’t have enough tax revenue, they keep approving developments that are a hazard to everyone involved! This is not just wreckless and uniformed, it is felonious. They ARE informed of the hazards yet they continue to approve things that endanger the public health.
This has to end! Below is a picture of the groundbreaking, along with the people’s names. The horrifying part of this, is the FAA was not even contacted. This is a serious shortfall of the Project Manager at the developer. Not sure which of these is the guilty party, but they are grossly negligent as how could it be just ordinary negligence? This had to be glossed over on purpose. Easier to beg forgiveness than as for permisson.
