Longmont City Council Votes to Draft Ordinance to Dissolve KLMO Airport Advisory Board

On February 10th, Sean McCoy moved to dissolve the Airport Advisory Board and place management of airport ops under the Transportation Board. When asked if he had spoken to the Transportation Board about this, his response was… wait for it…. “No, I have not.”

On February 24th, the Council directed staff by voting 5-2 to bring the ordinance in March to dissolve the Airport Advisory Board. Councilmembers Crist and Prieto were in opposition.
